Hope you can make sense of my notes from Joel Osteen's ministry. God gave me Is 54:14-17 tonight. I copied it to print it and place it on my husband's chair to read over morning coffee... I was in great need to hear such a Word from God and Is 54 hit me powerfully. Then, Joel came on tv and spoke from Is 54...confirming the strong Word God had just given me.
Joel said, "Weapons will be formed, right? But God says that He will not allow them to prosper."
Isa 54:14-17
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

We are in a fixed fight. God had a way out before we even encountered the difficulty.
If we stay in Faith, no weapon formed against us will prosper. “If God be for me, who can be against me?”
The enemy is not going to roll out the red carpet for us. haha, no kidding. There will always be opposition when we are trying to do something great.
Shake off the problems, month after month, even when you cannot see anything. Don’t get discouraged by opposition. It isn’t over until God says it’s over. Even when it looks impossible, God can do the impossible.
Character is developed during these times….gotta have a deep resolve. Make up your mind that you are going to stick with it and make your dreams come to pass.
Jonah disobeyed. Even when you make mistakes, God is so good. God had a whale to swallow up Jonah when he was thrown out of the ship. You may feel you have made bad choices and mistakes, but God doesn’t kick us out of the kingdom because we made mistakes. This is mercy. Shake off the guilt and condemnation and believe that God sees me as the “apple of His eye.” He’s bigger than anything we are facing. One angel destroyed 180,000 enemies in the OT.
All of heaven comes to attention when we get in trouble.
Lion ready to devour a little cub. The cub didn’t realize when the Lion began to back up that the mother Bear had come up behind the cub.
Get the fire back like David. Start declaring this problem is not going to prosper. God’s fist is clinched against my enemies. When everything comes against you – it is often because God has something great, a great victory around the corner. Shadrack, Mischack, and Abendigo (sp)….king heated up the fire to it's hottest temp just as the enemy does …they were in peace and they knew nothing was going to happen to them apart from God. God brought them through the fire without even the smell of smoke. When the heat gets turned up it means you are close to your breakthrough. Opposition will start to encourage you that the worst it gets. - you are getting close to closure and deliverence. Is. 54…He creates the blacksmith that makes the coals hot against us.”
When life becomes overwhelming…God shows up to be with us as He did with the 3 Hebrew children when in the furnace. The king saw a 4th man even as the Son of God in the furnace with the 3.
If you will come back to the place of peace – God will bring you through. He will see that everything will work out well. Expect God to change things in my favor and will fight my battles.
Touch not My anointed. I’m not going to sit around and worry. Have an attitude of an overcomer. Psalm 91. stay in the secret place READ IT.
STAY IN THE SECRET PLACE. Take time to get still before God when we have a big decision to make….get quiet and listen to Him.
It is not the size of our enemy that matters, it is the size of our God.
Don’t go around talking about the size of our problem. Talk about the size of our God. “I will defeat you,” young David said to Goliathe. He never called him a giant like others did. He called him an uncircumsized Philistine. He brought 5 smooth stone, but killed him with only one. Joel said that David knew Gol. had 4 brothers and laughed. ??
The problem may form…but it will not prosper.
Say to yourself, "He is my provider, victor, defender, healer, everything you touch will prosper, God will honor you and set you on high."
